We were allowed to leave that hospital room after 30 days...Finally New Years Eve at like 8pm.

It was a pretty big deal for us to be able to be home with the kids for New Years seeing we were not home for Christmas.

I was very brief on my last posting because my head was doing jumping jacks!

That whole time sitting watching over him not knowing if he was going to make it, and I only cried 1 time on a 1 hr. break in the I.C.U. and it was to someone I never call "Which is weird" but I'm glad Angie was there for me.

After that I held it all in again. I didn't have time to be upset, and my mind was refusing to believe that he would die. I just kept saying God sent us there in enough time that he didn't die..There for he just couldn't die.

I actually felt as if I was stuck in that movie "Freaky Friday" It felt like a bad dream that I wasn't waking from.

There were so many unknown people from Akron Baptist Church that made xmas happen for my kids and prayed for us even though they never met me or my husband. I'm very Thankful to them <3

And the kids were pretty Amazing...They brang a small white christmas tree all decorated up to Jr.'s room and tried to make him laugh when he was awake.

I didn't feel safe enough to leave the hospital so I only left 2 times for an hr. which I can't remember the 1st time but the 2nd I was called and told to get back there and they were trying to force things on jr. within about 3 hrs. that night he was unconscious and waiting for a machine to finish cleaning so that could start Dialysis. I kept telling him he could make it...just a little longer. "It felt like forever"

Anyways even than he was drowning in the fluid that was filling up his lungs, and I kept hearing him gurggling on something and I just kept bugging the Nurse till she finally tried to suction his airway. There was tons of liquid coming out..Right than and there he could have Aspirated!

I don't advise Anyone to go to Summa Western Reserve "Cuyahoga Falls" Hospital...After we got home the Home health Care service informed us that hospital we were at turned "For Profit" about 8 months ago and was owned and operated by 500 Dr.s ..Now Jr. is still going to the Dr.'s office there but said he will go to another Hospital for everything else...In his own words , "They can kiss his Ass" First bill 298,000 !

Now his kidneys are working, but with all his everyday pain from his previous disabilities..He really can't handle another. He has been having a lot of pain above his surgery site so tomorrow we meet the surgeon again, because his stent in his Liver may be the reason for his pain? Wish us Luck :) ~Tina

I miss the Kids

So I've been at the Hospital since Dec 3rd with my husband.

My kids are older, but I still feel bad about leaving my 16yr old to learn how hard it is to have to do everything for herself. She is doing very good for the stress she has been under. They all have been through a lot.

An ER trip turned from what my husband thought was the stomach flu to you need emergency surgery and a 3 day hospital stay. "Which he wanted to sign himself out than, and I threw a fit till he agreed to stay"!

They did blood work which detected elevated Liver enzymes, and they said if he would have stayed home one more day he would have died.

So they did scans and said it was a 1 in a million kinda thing where his Gallbladder had stones and some moved into the Liver and blocked the Duct to his Small Intestine. So he needed his Gallbladder removed, but they needed to do an ERCP first to remove the stones from the Liver before they moved into the Pancreas and killed him. They had to special order the instrument and went through his mouth and down through the stomach and through the small intestine up to the liver..shot in dye and seen a large stone blocking the end and a bunch of small ones and fragments behind it. They removed them and put in a stent in his Liver.

The next evening they went in to remove the Gallbladder but couldn't tell the difference between his scar tissue in the gall ducts and his blood vessels so they had to do the old fashion cut from the top in between his ribs all the way to his waist at the side "28 staples"

They gave antibiotics for this 2 hr and 15 min. surgery and he suddenly woke with Pnuemonia so they gave more antibiotics and then they said he had C- Diff so it got even more complicated..than his kidney's quit from the antibiotics.

After 5 rounds of Dialysis it looks like his kidneys are finally trying *PRAYERS*

Its just been one horrible nightmare, and he almost died...But he didn't and I can't wait to be home as a family.

I'm just thinking of all the poor families that have lost everything..*PRAYERS* We all need to remember what is really important "Family, Food, Shelter, Animals, Love & our Health"! It Will Get BETTER ~ And You will be CLOSER in a Bond of Community Love. **HUGS**

I've added 2 new Artworks in 2 Days :) It feels good to have back my Picture program it helps me release stress! It unfortunately only works on XP :(

The only thing that even comes close is Adobes photoshop for $1000.00 , and that is never going to happen...Who can afford that?

So today marks the Day things have finally started to look up.

Bankrupcty is over, S.S.D. has come through for my Husband and there is

a loop hole called use the Medicare card to check for other problems that BWC won't allow. So if they find something else wrong with Hubbys back it can finally be added to his claim ! 5 yrs. late but it's better than never.

He got his 1. electric wheel chair

2. a new bath seat ordered

3. a new cane ordered

4. a new M.R.I ordered

5. S.S.D. & worker's Comp

6. bankruptcy is final

7. My Mom is looking better/ my Dad is currently hurting ;(

8. A FRESH START :)

And things over all seemed to be calming down and Family is coming together.

Now I need to get myself into the ER to finally get my chest x-ray done again to check for growth on the Mass they found...I don't think there is anything to worry about , but for some reason I keep putting it off??

All in all I feel better than I have in yrs. ... Me , Mom, and my sister have all started taking One a Day "Energy" Vitamins and they are like a Miracle in a Bottle!

Pains are gone and I'm no longer a Zombie =)

We thought my Mom had M.S. or R.A. because of how bad she was and this vitamin has made a huge difference. It sounds stupid but there must be a genetic B1, B2 deficiency of some kind in our family, because regular vitamins and B12 Vitamins didn't work, in fact they wouldn't even digest.

I feel hopeful for the first time in 10 yrs. that things are finally turning around enough to smile inside. Not that smile you show everyone else but the kind you do when your alone. I'm not an EMO or anything I just have always taken Life one day at a time, because it was to stressful to think ahead.

If I had one wish it would be for me and my Husband to be able to sleep side by side again. He is in constant pain and I understand it all..In fact I don't care that he can't function as he puts it :"As a Man" at all...Because Marriage isn't about that at all. I do miss embrassing though, because that emotion makes you feel closer and stronger.

Just imagine waking one Day to find yourself never feeling the beat of your other half's heart or the Breaths . You know how when your sleeping wrapped around each other and there chest is rising and falling , and at first your both breathing different and than suddenly you sorta sync up and calmly breath as one and fall asleep...That is what I MISS so very much.

Granted I'd never leave for something so petty. And at first thats what he was thinking, but he knows deep down that it's not who I am. Till Death do us Part is what you say, however I think very few people really get the meaning.

I thank GOD everyday since I got married at 16yrs. old that we've made it and we had our problems believe me, but we now have 2 kids in College and one who will be in High school next yr.

And we have always had the utilities on, and a roof over our head, and food in our mouths and most importantly EACH OTHER.

And As I have posted before:

Take each Day one at a Time

Stressing over Tomorrow ...

Will leave you Emotionally Behind.

As of yesterday I have a permanent *SMILE*

A very nice lady that didn't even know me just handed me

a 61 key Yamaha Keyboard for FREE! I offered to earn it,

but she just handed it to me.

She said she got good use out of it.

I'm not used to being handed something for nothing.

So I can only imagine what my face looked like LoL!

Now I need to learn to read music...Any suggestions?
