02/11/2012 2:09am Unrelenting Struggles A fire deep inside Smoldering, and building with time. Enclosed in glass With no way to pass. Not enough oxygen to explode, But internally damaging life’s road. Vulnerability surfaces, Bringing fear, And loss of hope Tired you dig for Faith, before you choke. You keep going with no choice Something inside screaming a silent voice. Still depression has made itself known We all walk as if surrounded in stone. Days are dark, and filled with silent worries Declining health could easily end our story. You’re drowning, and we are too Still somehow this endless determination comes through. I miss feeling your chest… Rise with each breath while you sleep, And the Security from the Embrace you keep. And the way Our Heartbeats would turn to one Waking to the warmth of a New Setting Sun. Still I haven’t forgotten how Lucky I am Broken or not you’re still my Man. I Love You just the same As the day I took your Name. Often I Hold you in my mind Forever Daydreaming, lost in time. 22 years of frozen memories Sensually we Dance into Eternity. *Love Always, © Tina S. * |
