It won’t be long before we’ll be together for 14 years
we’ve shared a lot of pleasure, and tears.
At 14 and 17 we we’re so in love
fear was nothing we ever thought of.
Everyone was always saying babies having babies
nodding their heads in disbelief us making it wasn’t even a maybe.
That just made us work twice as hard
yearning to prove to everyone, and together we still are.
It wasn’t easy, but we never gave up
young and determined always hanging tough.
Now I think wow 2003
1989 was a long time ago for me.
We’ve both changed in so many ways
feeling like brother and sister on some days.
As one for so long our souls entwined
making it through ruff times is definitely a sign.
We’ve had it harder than most people, who don’t make it past they’re 3rd year,
and even brought with us are childhood fears.
I feel if we stick together we can accomplish anything
for breaking the abuse chain gave us all wings.
From the present we can only go up
if you forget the past…Today and tomorrow will be enough.
Holding you every night,
and waking up to you in my sight…
Is all I’ve ever wanted.
Except when it comes to hormones you’re hunted!!(HaHa)
So here’s to 14 more years down the line
we’ll make it we’re one of a kind.
