Eternally Frozen Behind everyone’s eyes is a story, And on every heart is a scar. Life’s lesson etched forever, Pain makes you who you are. Memories held in the back of your mind, That just linger and never really fade. Years that seem frozen as if to stand still, Love that has barricades and yet it stays. Daydreams that help you escape reality, But never really make sense. Confusion and curiosity create a new path, Yet fear all too often outlines a fence. Following our gut instead of our heart, In fear of helplessness. Ones soul dies and they loose sight of who they are, Through Selflessness. But through it all one thing comes to mind, Fate is never to be ignored. If something was meant to be, Ultimately it will be restored. |
