When I’m home I’m missing you and wish we weren’t apart
in this world we’re living in you’ve got to find a way to start.

each and every waking minute until the day is through?
I long for that day so far away when we can go out together…
When the kids are all grown and we’re all alone, and can explore life a little better.
I know we started young
I think that’s the way God wanted it done.
All along he knew
what was in store for me and you.
Just look at us now
we should stop and take a bow.
For we’ve come a long… long way
raising up 3 kids day by day.
We do the best we can
I hope they’ll understand.
That all we can do is take it one day at a time,
