9:11 PM Motherly Love |
Motherly Love The cold wait is continued like a restaurant menu. Servings are scarce there like my bodies terrorists. Will I feel the warmth in due time? Will thoughts of me be embedded in ones mind? Time stands still for now who will make it turn and how? Is there another or is this it? Alone behind these walls I sit. Confined yet safe… Why do I wait? I feel the need to be more, but everything is uncertain and unsure. Do I step out from this security, and chance instability? My world could come crumbling down, and cries might be the only sound. Does one go for there dreams if it’s beyond the family means? Is it selfish to put yourself first? You have to ask yourself what is your worth? My time now belongs to my kid’s so this is where I sit. I want them to achieve, and believe in their dreams. I spent my time foolishly…So the dream passes on one day they’ll be gone. Then I can pursue what it is I want without depriving them of motherly love. A poem of questions my own private session. This is how I figure things out though none of us are really sure what life is about. It’s not supposed to be understood the fragments keep us moving through. Aligning the pieces one at a time using only our heart and mind. Keeping an open mind, and daring to dream what the future holds for now remains to be seen. |
