My Setting Sun As we age time cascades
and years feel like days. Memories stay forever frozen like preserved time capsules chosen. Focus starts to shift from the bad to the future, and what we have. Suddenly faults don’t matter or how far we’ve climbed life’s ladder. Love and Family are all we need besides a roof, food, and clothing. Some people materialize life things that are important has left their sight... Just needing a nudge turning the right way, and seeing the Sunset of a New Day. I’ve enveloped my whole life around my Kids loosing sight somewhere along the way... Of what I wanted to feel or say but it doesn’t matter because they’re a part of me, and the Pride I feel each day is Forever Growing. They’re head strong and focused within whatever they decide to be...They won’t descend. I’ll Love them no matter what they become For they’ll Forever be My Setting Sun. |
