It feels like I’m drowning.
Knowing there’s nothing I can do
To turn agony, into happy

So many ups and downs
In a match with life and never ending rounds.
Being knocked down never to give up
Making "Together” enough.
When we first met
It was your eyes I fell in love with.
I felt safe and secure gazing into them
Building a wall around us I began to mend.
We grew wise and changed in many ways
Accepting each other and letting go of past days.
Learning that opposites are a good thing,
Because it’s our differences that are attracting.
Understanding that disagreeing is okay,
And tomorrow starts a fresh day.
Even after all this time
In a crowded room, "It’s you my heart finds”.
Still searching for that glance
