A shoulder to lean on from whom I can tell anything,
and during this there would be no judging.
In return I do the same
sending in all back her way.
Happy or sad maybe we just need to vent
A phone call cures it no need for consent.
When we were little we fought like cats and dogs.
Now we never see each other, but to each our heart belongs.
When we were both pregnant at the same time
I felt her contractions and mine.
No we are not twins
there was just some sort of connection.
I have to admit I didn’t like feeling back pain for two
though a security was felt, because when she was hurting I knew.
The things we have we’ve struggled for
making everything more meaning full.
Details never ignored
sometimes I think we don’t know what we’re searching for.
We do tire, but we’re determined and strong.
When fates pieces fall into place…That’s our path we hold on.
We may do things the hard way, but it only takes us once to learn.
Our mistakes are bridges of the past left to forever burn.
No turning back…Take it all head on
we’re two different souls sharing a sisterly bond.
If someone was to receive a second chance
they must have the ability to make are heart dance.
In the worst moments when we’re not prepared
whatever it takes we’ll be there.
Sometimes giving to much of ourselves
we’re forced to step back till cascading emotions are revealed.
I’ll love her, no matter who she may become
I believe we were sisters in another life or dimension.
Working hard to make up for a past life
throwing a smile into future strife.
The stars leading us through time
on a journey that’s yours and mine.
I pray God watches over your shoulder
Daily you remind me without words (Beauty is in the eye of the beholder).
At night look up at Heaven’s blanket
It’s my peaceful reminder you can make it.
