When I’m alone I want to feel your touch,
but you’re never there anymore and it hurts so much.
When the house is quiet late at night
I think of you wishing you were in my sight.
I want to feel your heart beat next to mine
instead I just watch the time.
I want to feel the warmth of your breath in my ear
whispering sweet nothings just for me to hear.
I imagine your sweet lips caressing me
then open my eyes to reality.
You don’t take the time to feel my breath
you’d rather put it in and get it over with.
If you would just take your time with me
I might make you a little more happy.
Sometimes I wonder if you think of me
yearning to know all your fantasies.
You don’t talk that much anymore
all you know how to do it go out the door.

I’ve been trying to talk to you everyday.
When you do make love to me
it feels so good I wish it was eternity.
If you’re my everlasting life
I thank God for helping me to be your wife.
I love you and always will,
and I’m hoping you’ll love me still.
